The path has been dark, seated in shame with much suffering due to lasting attachment…a sorrow that only an ego permits, weighed down by personality & a thinking mind…not of my creation but a continuance of it, this perception which does not exist has been given life…
…freedom has always been present, it just seemed unattainable.

As I say goodbye to 2021, I reflect over the journey and feel elated. It has been such a challenging year, but with many bright moments. It’s hard to imagine that this time last year I was in Shanghai with my beloveds, full of hope and wonder of what the year was to bring.
As I contemplate what 2022 will bring, I realize the gifts from the universe don’t happen by chance. To learn the lessons is to move on and begin a new playlist. 2021 felt as though it was the playlist of 2020…
In moving forward on this final day of 2021, I embrace a new adventure that begins today rather than tomorrow. Deep within my soul is a yearning for my somebody/nobody-ness that resides within, awaiting to see the world for what it is, not what it should be.
As beloved would say, I am in love with what we are, not what we should be…
